Sarnia Observer — The Lambton County Plowing Match was nearly cancelled Friday evening following a wet week, but the Lambton Plowmen’s Association and host farmers, Ken and Pam Dobbin, decided in the end to go ahead.

Sarnia Observer — The annual free event includes competitive horse and tractor classes as part of the International Plowing Match qualifying circuit, antique machinery, a food booth, and just-for-fun municipal classes, where local politicians try their hands at plowing their neatest and straightest.

This year’s running of the county’s competitive plowing event was hosted by Kevin Forbes and his family on their farm in Sarnia.
